Our Vision

Every young person will be connected to community life and inspired to build community life for future generations.

Our Goal

To provide engaging, community-based programming exemplifying Qur’anic principles and the life example of Prophet Muhammad (saws).

Our Families

Our families are the base of our programs. They provide the foundation on which our youth stand. They are the primary nurturers and supporters of our youth and entrust our staff to reinforce the righteous principles practiced at home. Our families volunteer their time, skills and talents. Our families are strengthened when they strengthen the community.

Our Youth

Our youth are the heart of our programs. They open the hearts of others through their purity, laughter and willingness to learn and teach. Our youth range from ages 5 – 17, though we often see the younger siblings and cousins in the family. Many of our youth matriculate to universities, trade programs, entrepreneurship and careers. Youth often return to volunteer with our programs.

Our Staff

Our staff are the backbone of our programs. They are dedicated community members committed to the success of our youth. Our staff contribute a wide-range of skills and talents. They teach our classes, guide our youth, provide supervision, give hugs, play with our youth and spend of their time and wealth. Without our staff volunteers, our programs would not be possible.

Our Mission:

Cultivate an appreciation and love for ALLAH, Al-Islam and our Islamic lifestyle. Provide instruction in the fundamental beliefs of Al-Islam and their practical application in the student’s life. Cultivate in our children an appreciation for human excellence, organization, and scholarship. Provide an Islamic environment that helps promote healthy social interactions between young believers, parents, and the community.

We utilize a Creation-Inspired approach and the Ascension of the Soul Framework, guided by the Qur’an, the life example of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Tafsir of Imam W.D. Mohammed.

INSTRUCTIONAL PATHWAYS TO FACILIATE OUR MISSION:

Arabic, Islamic Studies, Leadership Training, African American History, Cooking, Discovering the signs of ALLAH in nature, S.T.E.M., Creative Dramatics, Art, and Health.
