The Blessed Month of Ramadan
The Blessed Month of Ramadan is almost upon us. It is always heartwarming to see the anticipation for Eid build in our children’s eyes. The Eid Committee members are 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Muslims and we remember just how much fun it was to celebrate Eid!!! Our parents and our loving community made great sacrifices to make sure that Eid was a special time. To many of our members we are their only Muslim family, and their children depend on us. As 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation community members, we realize how fortunate we are to have parents that paved the way for us and made sacrifices that only loving parents and community members will do.
This year The Eid Committee is planning a Children’s Pavilion Eid Extravaganza: toys, train rides, game truck, moon bounce, face painting, sack races, three-legged races, great food, and much, much more. We need your support! Please donate new toys and or cash! Together we will make this Eid the best ever for the children.
