SHARE at Masjid Muhammad

“SHARE@MM (Masjid Muhammad)”, celebrating its 14th year of operation, is a once-a-month food distribution program providing services to Seniors and families within our community as well as the broader local community. The SHARE Team has delivered over 4,000 packages of groceries since 2004. Our team travels to the SHARE, Inc. warehouse (under Catholic Charities), in Landover, MD, where they select a variety of food items. From there, those items are delivered to Masjid Muhammad where a team of long-standing volunteers sort and pack groceries for distribution to our growing list of customers. SHARE@MM is unique in that we are funded through volunteer donations from the Believers at Masjid Muhammad, the Nation’s Mosque. Typically, SHARE customers would have to pay $22-$25 for single food packages, however, based on community contributions, we provide groceries at no cost (!) to our Seniors and/or families-in-need.
