NEW YEAR – We would like to extend well wishes for a Happy Islamic New Year!  May the Most High fill your year with His mercy, love and forgiveness.

 

D.S.T. REMINDER – Daylight Savings Time ends this Sunday at 2AM (remember to change your clocks before going to bed).  As a result our Sunday Public Addresses and Friday Jumah Prayers will be moved up an hour to 12:30PM.  Please make note.

 

LOST & FOUND – If you believe that you have lost an item at a recent Masjid Muhammad event please be sure to stop by the Office and check our Lost & Found.  We have accumulated quite a collection of glasses, phone chargers, earphones, and costume jewelry, among other things.  We would love to return these items to their rightful owners.

 

BUS TRIP – Masjid Muhammad will be arranging a bus for community members who wish to attend this year’s “A Time to be Grateful” event weekend in Memphis, TN.  The bus will be departing from the Masjid on Thursday, December 11th and returning Monday, December 14th.  See flier on back of bulletin for more details.

Training for Clergy, Laypersons, Faith-based and Non-Profit Organizations

This outreach training event is a collaborative partnership between Reid
Temple AME Church, the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs the Center for
Faith- based and Neighborhood Partnerships (CFBNP), the VA National Chaplain
Center, the Washington DC VA Medical Center’s Chaplain Service, and U.S.
Vets. And its aim is to help identify ways faith-leaders and community partners can address spiritual and emotional needs of returning Vets and their families.

This is a free event and a continental breakfast will be provided.
