“Have they not observed things that Allah has created, (how) their shadows incline to the right and to the left, making prostration unto Allah, and they are lowly?

And to Allah prostate all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, of the live moving creatures and the angels, and they are not proud.  They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded.  And Allah said (O mankind!): “Take not two gods in worship. Verily, He (Allah) is (the) only One God. Then, fear Me much.  To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and (all that is in) the earth and Ad-Din Wasiba is His [(i.e. perpetual sincere obedience to Allah is obligatory). None has the right to be worshipped but Allah)]. Will you then fear any other than Allah?”  (48:52)

Deepest Sympathy Extended to Imam Shareef, Sister Tahirah and Family

With deep, profound sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Ari Nasir Givens, (1yr, 7mos) beloved and youngest grandson of Imam Talib and Sister Tahirah Shareef, and parents, Sister Zakiya (daughter) and Brother Fontel Givens.  May the Creator, the Merciful Benefactor, Grant Baby Ari a beautiful new home in Paradise and Grant Comfort and Peace to family and friends during this extremely difficult time of transition.

Our prayers of support, love and faith from the global community of Believers are extended as well.  We will fondly remember Ari and his beautiful smile that lifted our hearts and eased our souls.

“Dear friends at Masjid Muhammad,

What a blessed visit the forty of us had among our brothers and sisters on “the straight path.” The warmth, generosity, wisdom, and hospitality that we experienced were a testimony of your deep faith in God and your expansive love for all humanity. Thank you for your hard work to feed us in body, mind, and spirit. The honest and cogent answers to many of our questions aided us in knowing our neighbor’s faith in some depth.

I missed my brother Talib but clearly he has built up a host of strong, wide, and caring leaders!

Your brother

Sathi
