Community Meeting

Sunday, August 17, 2014

Please save the date!

From The Imam’s Office:
With G-d’s Name, The Merciful Benefactor, The Merciful Redeemer

AsSalaamAlikum, Dear Community of Family& Friends,

Al-hamdulillah, this year we will continue our Ramadan practice of providing dates, fruit and water to break fast and feed at least 75-100 people nightly following Maghrib prayer.  There are many blessings in feeding the fasting Muslim.  On average, a meal is estimated to cost $5.00 per person.  Would you or your business like to help sponsor an Iftar?

Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: “The Believers’ shade on Yaumid Qiyam (Day of Standing) will be his charity”.

Think about it like this, for every $5.00 dollars that you donate, you will feed 1 person. Any amount that you can donate is appreciated!

For your convenience, you can make your donations by visiting our website or by visiting the Business Office.  Please don’t forget to indicate that your donation is for Iftars.

May the light of understanding that we seek individually during Ramadan bring us closer as a community, closer to Allah!
